Alfred George Ward started the Business in 1929 and finally sold it in 1965.

These are the Builders... Billy Moss, Percy Moore (his Father "Tiny" Moore also worked for the Company), Stanley and Roy Rigby. They are standing on the stern of "Sea Earl"

Built 1946
regitration number .... Y78
Length 40ft
Beam 12ft 6in
Registered Historic Vessel of UK fleet, look at National Maritime Museum site,cert below.

"Sea Queen"
this was "Sea Princes" sister vessel.
Built 1946
registration number .... Y79
sold in 1970 "it was a sad day" Roy Rigby told me.

Built 1929
Berthed Norwich
Not long after this photo was taken.
Near where she was built,
a plank was being replaced and she took in water
and I understand she was abandoned.
Muriel is the daughter of A G Ward.

Berthed in Dublin, Ireland.

"Sea Wolf" this was a "Hotel" type Vessel.
Length 50ft approx
Beam 14ft approx
Built .... round bildge.
last seen some years ago London.



"Sea Rover"
Muriel and I, found the Yard at the top of the 'River Ant' where she was dismantled.

I found "Sea Prince" on the 1st of May 1988.
Stripped, Sunk and Unloved.

My family visiting June 1988.

This is "Orianne"
Launched as "Superb" in 1884... re named "Now Eileen" about 1902, then "Orianne" about 1960....

Originally a "Barge" this is the correct name for a Horse Drawn Boat,
the sides are riveted Iron and when she was built would have had Elm bottom and Oak Chine planks...
The owner is looking for infomation or pictures...
